about

My Dear Killer was born in the middle of the nineties as a project aimed at collecting minimalist song-writing, stratified on a mesh of noise, ambient and field recordings. The songs are built around few fragile chords and whispered vocals, often drowned in a sea of feedback or accompanied by field recordings and they are intended to be listened on (possibly biased) audiocassette, ideally in a parked car, by a frozen lake.

"Clinical Shyness", the first album by My Dear Killer was the first release for Boring Machines in 2006, followed by "The Electric Dragon of Venus" in 2013. Another album "The Cold Plan" was self released in 2018 with the help of EeeE imprint.
This time we couldn’t wait too long for a new set of songs and after only two years we are happy to have him on board again with the last long record of the ideal tetrad: “Collectable Items”.
